Last night’s Putnam County Fair Board Meeting was a great reminder of why we do what we do. ❤️
We were honored to hear a presentation from the Buffalo High School FFA. Watching these young leaders share their passion and accomplishments makes us incredibly proud of the future of agriculture in #PutnamWV.
We also welcomed several special guests who joined us as we continue planning for the 2026 Fair season!
And stay tuned… 👀
We’re getting closer to making some exciting entertainment announcements that you won’t want to miss!
The best is yet to come…

Livestock families know… fair week isn’t just one day…
It’s early mornings, long days, and cheering on your exhibitor all week long.
If you’ll be at the barns every day, a Season Pass just makes sense.
🎟 Discounted Season Passes are on sale now through May 1st for $65 (plus online ticketing convenience fee).
One pass. All week.
More time where it matters.

The sash is more than a beautiful accessory- it’s the symbol she will wear with pride at appearances, parades, community events, and throughout her entire year of service. ✨
We are currently seeking THREE sponsors for our 2026 Putnam County Fair Pageant Sash Sponsorship.
✨ Pre-Teen Division – $125
✨ Teen Division – $125
✨ Miss Division – $125
Each sponsorship helps provide the official embroidered sash for that division’s queen- a piece she will wear proudly as she represents the Putnam County Fair across our community and beyond.
Your business name will be recognized as the official Sash Sponsor for that division and celebrated as a supporter of local youth, leadership, and community tradition.
If you or your business would like to invest in one of our queens and be part of her journey, message us for details.
Help us celebrate the next generation of Putnam County Fair royalty. 👑

The National FFA Organization isn’t just about blue jackets- it’s about building skills that last a lifetime.
Public speaking. Record keeping. Animal science. Leadership. Work ethic.
Many of the exhibitors you see in our barns each summer are FFA members who spend months preparing their livestock projects- learning responsibility, time management, and dedication along the way.
When you attend the fair, support the livestock auction, or cheer from the stands, you’re investing in more than a project, you’re investing in a young person’s future.
And that’s something worth celebrating. 💛

⏰ LAST CALL ⏰ Ewe & Me Program Applications Close February 28th! 🐑❤️
There’s still time to be part of the 2026 Putnam County Fair Ewe & Me Program, but the deadline is quickly approaching!
The Ewe & Me Program pairs youth who need additional support with a student mentor to learn about caring for and showing a lamb. This program is designed for students enrolled in Putnam County Schools’ modified diploma program or those with physical disabilities that would prevent them from exhibiting independently. (Exceptions may be made at the discretion of the committee)
If your child would benefit from this experience, we encourage you to apply before applications close on February 28th.

Tonight, Putnam County Fair President Krista Snodgrass proudly represented the Putnam County Fair at the Putnam County Commission meeting.
We believe deeply in the power of partnership and working alongside our local government to ensure our fairgrounds, programs, and events continue to reflect the pride we all share in #PutnamWV.
Our mission has always been to make the best better- for our youth, our exhibitors, our volunteers, and our entire community.
Opportunities like this allow us to advocate for the traditions we cherish while continuing to move forward with vision and purpose.
Thank you to the Putnam County Commission for your time, your leadership, and your continued support of the Putnam County Fair and the families we serve.
When community partners work together, everyone wins. ❤️
