Today was lamb shearing day for our Ewe & Me program at the Putnam County Fairgrounds, and we had the chance to catch up with several of this year’s participants as they prepare for fair week. It’s exciting to watch these projects come together and see the dedication our youth are putting into them.

Break out the markers, paint, glitter, and creativity! Design a poster that shows off your personality and your pride in the fair. The winner will be announced Saturday, July 11, in the show arena before the lamb show.

A clean stall makes for happy animals and a great-looking barn! Whether you’re showing cattle, goats, sheep, rabbits, or hogs, keep your area neat and inviting for a chance to win. Winners will be selected daily!
