The countdown is on, and the fairgrounds are getting ready to welcome this year’s livestock! 🐄🐑🐖
Today, volunteers have been hard at work cleaning out the barns and preparing the stalls for our feeder animals. It may not be the most glamorous job, but it’s one of the many behind-the-scenes tasks that helps make fair week possible.
Every clean stall is another step closer to welcoming our exhibitors, their animals, and the memories that will be made at the 2026 Putnam County Fair.

Join us Thursday after the Old Timer Showmanship Contest for the Putnam County Fair Costume Contest, where exhibitors and their animals take the ring in their most creative costumes. From superheroes to storybook characters, you never know what you’ll see!
